The Sunlover fast catamaran operates from Cairns Marlin Marina to their private, state-of-the art Outer Reef pontoon located on spectacular Moore Reef.

With up to 4 hours at the reef, guests can enjoy an extensive range of in-water and dry activities with something for all ages, activity levels and swimming abilities.  

Snorkel, Scuba Dive, visit the Underwater Observatory, witness the lively fish feeding demonstration or learn more about this intricate ecosystem on an informative Glass Bottom Boat or Semi-Submersible tour.   

Pontoon facilities include ample undercover seating, fresh water rinse showers, changing rooms and a spacious sundeck with lounges.  This family friendly day ticks all the boxes and also includes the only theme park style waterslide at the reef – the popular Sunlover Sunslide!  

HELICOPTER TRANSFERS

The 25 minute scenic flight between Cairns and Moore Reef delivers stunning panoramic views extending from the tropical rainforest clad coastline, across the azure waters of the Coral Sea and into the very heart of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.  

Your highly skilled pilot will share their local knowledge of the region while on the lookout for Turtles, Dolphins, Manta Rays, large schools of pelagic fish and even majestic Humpback Whales (Jul to Sep).

The journey continues with a visit to Fitzroy Island where lunch will be served, you’ll have a delightful 3-hour afternoon stay on this beautiful tropical paradise. Fitzroy Island is a favourite among Cairns locals, with 99% of its landscape covered in lush tropical rainforest, complemented by granite outcrops, open woodlands, mangroves, and coral-fringed beaches. Additionally, we provide snorkel equipment as part of this tour.
