A minimum of 2 passengers per aircraft is required for Scenic Flights, Exclusive Getaways and Special Interest Tours (excluding ‘You Fly’). All tours are subject to availability and weather (including tide fro Sand Cay Getaway and Touchdown Upgrade).
Payment is due at time of booking unless credit accounts have been arranged.
Payments made by credit card will incur a surcharge. The surcharge incurred is that set by the corresponding financial institution at the time of booking. Surcharges at September 2018: American Express at 3.8% and MasterCard & Visa at 1.5%
Individual passenger weights and accompanying carryon luggage MUST be advised at time of booking. Weight variances greater than 10% may incur an additional fee. Maximum single seat payload of 110kg. For passenger comfort and aircraft weight and balance, passengers exceeding 110kg are required to purchase an additional seat at 50% of the ticket price – this is non-commissionable and payable to Nautilus Aviation on the day of travel.
Due to the comfort of the horses, there is a weight restriction. Maximum weight is 95kg
Children 3 years and above are charged at adult rates. Subject to conditions, children under 3 year may travel free of charge when seated on a parents/guardians laps.
Minimum and Maximum passenger numbers:
Minimum passenger numbers may apply. Groups larger than 6 passengers may require a private charter. Please discuss this with Reservations department at the time of booking.
Credit Card details are required to confirm the booking
Pay on Board charges:
- $20 Marine Levy includes EMC $6.50, Port Fees $1.50, Admin $2.00, Fuel Levy $10 – payable direct on the day of travel
- Other operators charges – $10 Bungy Admin and Insurance Levy
Tours and aircraft substitutions are subject to Management and/or Pilots discretion, weather, air traffic control and availability.
Reservations are held ONLY if weights are received and full payment is made – unless credit facilities have been previously arranged.
48-hour cancellation notice required for a full refund claim; within 48 hours to 24 hours a 50% refund applies. If cancelled inside 24 hours no refund applies. Should a client advise a weight variance of more than 10% the right is reserved to cancel and no refund will apply. All refunds must be issued at the point of sale.
All aviation operators are governed by Marine Park permits allocating minimum heights, distances and restrictions. Sand Cay landings may only occur if the cay is vacant, in the unlikely event that the cay is occupied, Sand Cay guests will receive additional flying time to a private beach location and no refund shall apply.
Council Fee applies to Palm Cove Beach landings and must be booked 4-6 weeks in advance to allow for council permission.
Sand Cay Getaway:
Fitzroy Island ferry tickets given when Sand Cay landing is not possible are not inclusive of Island activities, restaurants and accomodation. Tickets are for ferry return transfers only.
Transfers from Cairns and Northern Beaches (up to and including Palm Cove) are included for all tours (including reef excursion Cruise/Fly, Fly/Cruis and Fly/Fly options). Transfers to/from Port Douglas start from $70pp NEt (minimum 2 passengers) and payable direct to Nautilus Aviation. Port Douglas and Kuranda transfers are non-commissionable and are invoiced in addition to the tour cost.
Conditions of Carriage:
Nautilus Aviation will not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience arising from, or incidental to, any delay in service. Nautilus Aviation works in conjunction with other tour operators and is not liable for other operator’s acts or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise. Travel and admissions will be subject to the conditions imposed by these operators, which may limit or exclude liability for personal injury or property damage.
