Your day starts with a 90-minute fast catamaran cruise to Reef Magic’s activity platform. The platform offers a stable, all-weather base allowing visitors to explore the reef in comfort. Snorkel, scuba dive, helmet dive or stay dry and visit the underwater reef observatory for an informative talk from a local marine expert. The semi-submersible is a great family activity providing views of the reef from below the waterline without setting foot in the water and includes live commentary.
Your experience concludes with a 25-minute scenic flight to the outer reef departing from our floating helipad located close to Reef Magic’s activity platform, returning you to our helipad conveniently located at the Cairns City Esplanade. On your way you will enjoy stunning panoramic views extending from the tropical rainforest to the azure waters of the Great Barrier Reef, looking out for turtles, dolphins, manta rays, and humpback whales during the migration season.
